Spice Classics are a blue collar spice meaning that they are cheap! That doesn't mean that the spices are crummy, it just means that as a hard case laborer I want decent priced spices. I don't want to pay an arm or a leg for what some companies say are premium spices and makes the said spice price seem so.
I won't name company names.
I'd rather spend the money I saved on spices on a better cut of meat, like say, a marbled Ribeye, or a juicy Sirloin steak and probably an incredibly higher priced Beef Tenderloin, cubed and skewered on seasoned beef kabobs:)
That's where my blue collar life edges out into a higher class existence and nobody would be the wiser regarding branded vs cheap spices as long as the container's not in view! Ha Ha! My secret.
Anyway, these are pretty much the basic spices, nothing fancy, just an everyday "go to" spice and that's fine :)

Funded by beef farmers & ranchers, the Wisconsin Beef Council is a top shelf informative website about beef, recipes and how to cook a certain meat. That's where I got this great recipe!
Here's a really great beef feed that you can sink you chewing teeth into and season with Spice Classics seasonings. It's a mozzarella stuffed, meat inspired crusty wrapped baked delight!
Italian Beef Meatball Sandwich Rolls
|
Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine Italian-Style Beef Sausage mixture (made by you), 1 egg and bread crumbs in large bowl; mixing thoroughly.
Shape into twelve, two inch meatballs. Place a mozzarella ball in the middle of each meatball, making sure the mozzarella ball is completely covered with the beef mixture. Place meatballs on aluminum-foiled lined broiler rack coated with cooking spray. Bake in 400°F oven 24 to 27 minutes.
How to make Italian-Style Beef Sausage: Combine 1 pound Ground Beef (93% lean or leaner), 1 teaspoon fennel seed, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper in large bowl, mixing lightly, but thoroughly.
Cut dough into twelve pieces, about one ounce each. Stretch each piece to cover one meatball, pinching the edges to seal. Place on parchment-lines shallow-rimmed baking sheet, seam-side down. Place remaining one egg in small bowl, beat with a fork. Brush rolls with egg; top with Sargento parmesan cheese.
Bake rolls in 400°F oven for ten to twelve minutes or until golden brown. Serve with Barilla marinara sauce and Spice Classics basil, as desired.
Ordering:
With inflation running amok with food, fuel and everything else resembling one of those heart monitors; zig, zag, up then down, I really stand on "real time pricing". What is "real time pricing"? It means I'm actually in the store calculating true prices on your order.
That's right, a real human being making it happen for you. Prices you see on Food Run Fix are close estimates and not guaranteed to be absolute because they change every day, so I have to comb the grocery lanes, see what they got, see the prices, pick the products and give you the shout out! Just like if you were shopping yourself. Simply add your items to the cart.
Paying:
Don't pay anything, regardless of what you see in the cart until I send you the actual invoiced bill of the real time prices, sales tax and my delivery fee, right from the store. You also get the receipt; everything is open and upfront.
Lastly, remember that I am working for you! If there is anything you need to change last minute, you have my number (608) 214-8758 and email, rex@foodrunfix.com. No worries ;)
