Connies pizza, without a doubt in my mind, is one of the best frozen pizza products on the market.
My reasoning on the why is that their corn meal crust is everything! It's thin too, so it has zero of what I like to call "pizza hangover".
Ordering:
With inflation running amok with food, fuel and everything else resembling one of those heart monitors; zig, zag, up then down, I really stand on "real time pricing". What is "real time pricing"? It means I'm actually in the store calculating true prices on your order.
That's right, a real human being making it happen for you. Prices you see on Food Run Fix are close estimates and not guaranteed to be absolute because they change every day, so I have to comb the grocery lanes, see what they got, see the prices, pick the products and give you the shout out! Just like if you were shopping yourself. Simply add your items to the cart.
Paying:
Don't pay anything, regardless of what you see in the cart until I send you the actual invoiced bill of the real time prices, sales tax and my delivery fee, right from the store. You also get the receipt; everything is open and upfront.
Lastly, remember that I am working for you! If there is anything you need to change last minute, you have my number (608) 214-8758 and email, rex@foodrunfix.com. No worries ;)
Pizza hangover is a term I coined as I moved along in my pizza eating life. When I was a young man in my very early twenties, an intoxicating saucy deep dish was everything. Loaded with pepper, onions, sausage, heavy mozzarella, mushrooms if you liked them and a thick crust, man was that steaming crusty pizza excellent!
My younger body could tolerate it then with no pain. Not now, oh no. You have to make some adjustments as you "move along", age & dietary wise. Thin crust flavor is really what I can deal with, and Connie's does it well :) Thin, lighter, very tasty and most importantly, you can move after you eat it. That's key.
Decadent? Probably. Warned by your heart doctor about cheese? Likely. Me being wishy washy about those warnings? Well...;)
* For the hearty, on the other hand, Connies Pizza does has deep dish and pizzeria style frozen pizzas which at the moment Food Run Fix isn't offering to grab for you :( Sorry about that! It doesn't mean it couldn't happen in the near future, but these thin discs are the prime sellers & movers.
If I'm communicated to by people that do want heavier pizza, you know I'm going to jump all over that! (After all, you are my boss.)

A quality frozen pizza like Connie's deserves some side accolades in the form of a tasty salad, dressing and a few cheese-filled breadsticks along with terribly delicious sauces to dip those breadsticks into! This isn't one of those meals where you should worry about calories. Remember, you're going to run five miles right after to work it all off. You got this :)
Seriously though, complimenting Connies pizza isn't tough. I just had to choose carefully. I believe it's done so with Coles plus New York Bakery bread paired with Lucini dipping sauces and Taylor Farms salads. I hope that they don't disappoint you. They are just side additives though; you don't have to have them but if you are throwing a pizza party for a bunch of good friends, more food is the way to go ;)
