Gluten Free Flour

Gluten free flour shines best with Bob's Red Mill and the King Arthur brand. As I began to work on this page, I really started to become aware and feel for people with gluten intolerance who simply can't waltz into a grocery store and start filling their cart with everyday products. People with celiac disease have to think twice about it before they purchase.

Those folks need gluten free products, foodstuffs that are sadly lacking but, I believe are coming around because of awareness of celiac disease. Manufacturers are responding slowly but surely.

What is celiac disease and what does gluten free food have to do with it?

Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder. Think of your body as a factory for a second. It's a processer. Most people can process most any food eaten, but people that have Celiac disease are gluten intolerant. Gluten is a protein in wheat, rye and barley. That protein can't enter the factory doors because of the damage it can do. Gluten free food helps that person with the condition and the reason for this page!

Imagine not being able to share a pizza with family or friends. Potlucks? Forget it. Picnics or company junkets? Nope. Being perceived as a food snob? Count on it in varying degrees!

As of this writing 11/23/2018, I noticed an article about an experimental vaccine called Nexvax2 that may help people that have celiac disease eat a normal diet like anybody else. It's interesting and well worth the read.

With inflation running amok with food, fuel and everything else resembling one of those heart monitors; zig, zag, up then down, I really stand on "real time pricing". What is "real time pricing"? It means I'm actually in the store calculating true prices on your order.

That's right, a real human being making it happen for you. Prices you see on Food Run Fix are close estimates and not guaranteed to be absolute because they change every day, so I have to comb the grocery lanes, see what they got, see the prices, pick the products and give you the shout out! Just like if you were shopping yourself. Simply add your items to the cart.

Paying:

Don't pay anything, regardless of what you see in the cart until I send you the actual bill of the real time prices, sales tax and my delivery fee. Lastly, remember that I am working for you!
