Pellegrino Water

Pellegrino water is a great product and has a very interesting history behind it. First of all, the brand is owned by Nestlé, a Swiss company. There seems to be a huge backlash online, at least verbally, against Nestlé for many reasons, namely, for being a huge corporation that's perceived as only interested in $. Of course they are. That's what a business does. They provide a product. People buy it. The business makes money.

Nestlé has a lot of great products that people buy. Food Run Fix has them on our pages and delivers those products. So....hello?!?

Some history and architectural fans that drink San Pellegrino have been to the area in Italy where the mineral waters still flow. They look at the run down buildings, once a hot spot for the movers and shakers of the 1800's, and want the buildings to be restored to their greatness. After all, they say, "Nestlé's making billions". It's a sad winsomeness for an era that's gone. From Food Run Fix's point of view and a personal love of old architecture, well, we don't want to see Italian designs that old rot away, you know? Here we are in 2017. Builders don't build like that anymore. Builders build for fast money. The old mansion designs and labor are a lost art, when time and money had a different time stamp on it. But, as a fan of old architecture, I'm for restoring, if only for our kids, students, and future home designers. I'm of the mindset that is we can't let that get lost.

This is the image at he left that's on every bottle. It's the Art Nouveau Casino Building. I describe art nouveau as a swirling style with dynamic borders, images, color and a heck of a lot of detail.

With inflation running amok with food, fuel and everything else resembling one of those heart monitors; zig, zag, up then down, I really stand on "real time pricing". What is "real time pricing"? It means I'm actually in the store calculating true prices on your order.

That's right, a real human being making it happen for you. Prices you see on Food Run Fix are close estimates and not guaranteed to be absolute because they change every day, so I have to comb the grocery lanes, see what they got, see the prices, pick the products and give you the shout out! Just like if you were shopping yourself. Simply add your items to the cart.

Paying:

Don't pay anything, regardless of what you see in the cart until I send you the actual bill of the real time prices, sales tax and my delivery fee. Lastly, remember that I am working for you!
