Classico Pasta Sauce

Classico Pasta Sauce; the name alone is a grabber! It implies goodness and history above and beyond any pasta sauce selling today like Ragu or Prego. Hey, it's classic, right?

This was formally a Borden Foods product that is now a H.J. Heinz Co darling. It doesn't really matter as long as they are delivering the same delicious taste.

I love spaghetti with mushrooms and meat and this sauce ladled over it, but my big favorite is beef ravioli with a lot of sauce on it.

I purchase beef ravioli frozen at Pick & Save, Aldi's, or Woodman's here in southern Wisconsin. Any pasta is great with Parmesasn Grated Cheese on it, freshly grated or via shaker!

A note of interest is the square like jar that the sauce comes in. That catches my eye right away. It encourages me to buy it, which I do. It's very clever marketing! There's alfredo and pizza sauce here as well! If you're a pasta sauce taster or critic and love Prego or Ragu and want to try something different then the same old usual on your pasta, why not try Classico?

With inflation running amok with food, fuel and everything else resembling one of those heart monitors; zig, zag, up then down, I really stand on "real time pricing". What is "real time pricing"? It means I'm actually in the store calculating true prices on your order.

That's right, a real human being making it happen for you. Prices you see on Food Run Fix are close estimates and not guaranteed to be absolute because they change every day, so I have to comb the grocery lanes, see what they got, see the prices, pick the products and give you the shout out! Just like if you were shopping yourself. Simply add your items to the cart.

Paying:
